Here is an artist who simply had to make the cut after I was avalanched with notes from multiple deviants. It's wonderful how many styles of art we see in the HP fandom: from storybook inks to cartoons to anime to rich paintings like this one. There's a classic feel to this piece reminiscent of the paintings in the illutrated editions of Lord of the Rings. I hope (and suspect) that someday we might see a release of the Potter books with illustrations like this. (Suggested by ^ArtisticAunJuli and Featured by `animator)

i tell you JK should have gotten you to do ALL the covers, i don't really like any of the other artist renditions on those covers, ESPECIALLY the fourth one. A phoenix is the SIZE of a swan, it doesn't have the anatomy of one! agh, sorry, rant, I wish this was the actual bookcover, it totally rocks my socks and even looks like one of my old plotbunny theories :D MUCH LOVE FOR YOUR AWESOMENESS!!!! :D
