I did this painting of Godric a couple of years ago, but updated him and his background when I decided I wanted to do a series of the Hogwarts Founders before the release of book 7. :)

Wow, that's so cool. It has really got such a warm feeling to it. Totally reminds me of Gryffindor, although I haven't read through Harry Potter in a while. =p

The sword looks very sleak too. Overall a great piece. :)

The detail is intense. I dunno, its not how I imagined him, but he's certainly got a lot of character in this painting. Any yey for the Sorting Hat! I love the background too :)

omg this is outstanding! I love the pose and how he's holding the Gryffindor Sword! It's so beautiful....

the hair reminds me a bit of Gimli. But I love the detail's it's priceless....

your work is very talented!

This is just beautiful! I love every detail you put into it. His eyes look warm but mischievous at the same time. And I love the fact he has red hair... just like a Weasley. Lol
It reminds me a little bit of Lord of the Ring.
